With a Realtor mother and property-investor father, Philip Kocev was immersed in real estate from an early age and began his career in the corporate world before ultimately pursuing real estate professionally.
Philip co-founded Skybound Realty in August 2025 with a group of seasoned industry professionals committed to innovation, integrity, and raising the standard of support for both agents and clients.
Holding an Honours degree in Human Resources Management and the CHRL designation, Philip built a strong foundation in business and organizational leadership through strategic roles in human resources, facilities, and management consulting. His work spanned local and global mandates across business operations, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational restructuring. In his final corporate role within Deloitte’s HR Transformation practice, he advised global clients on process redesign, organizational design, and the implementation of centralized service models.
In 2009, Philip transitioned into real estate full time, helping to launch and grow one of Toronto’s largest brokerages. He quickly became a top-performing agent and expanded his leadership impact by operating branches, guiding agents, and shaping operational strategy. With more than 20 years of experience as a trusted advisor, his expertise spans sales performance, team leadership, and brokerage management.
At Skybound, Philip leads with a people-first approach grounded in operational discipline and long-term vision, empowering agents with the systems, tools, and culture they need to thrive while delivering a high-touch client experience that defines the Skybound standard.
Beyond brokerage leadership, Philip is engaged in real estate investing and believes Canada’s housing challenges require practical, scalable solutions and greater housing diversity. He is a strong advocate for Missing Middle housing as a pathway to improved affordability, thoughtful intensification, and more balanced neighbourhood growth.
Deeply committed to community and inclusion, Philip brings an open and approachable mindset to every relationship. Outside of real estate, he enjoys travelling with his partner Andrew and has a longstanding passion for the arts. He supports the Inside Out 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival, the Bill 7 Educational Award Scholarship, The 519, and Rainbow Railroad, and previously served as Treasurer of the Broadview Danforth BIA.
